U10s:
drew 5-5 against a team (Alexandra park west) we lost 4-2 too earlier in the season definitely showed improvement as we were ahead a few times before they managed to score with a minute left to go entertaining to watch and the lads enjoyed it on to the next week
U11s:
not a bad performance but woke up fully last 10 minutes which wasn’t enough they showed fight to try and get back into the game with aiden scoring a wonder goal
U12s:
back to winning ways with a thumping of SSW 3-0 could’ve been 5 or 6. The boys all competed well from start to finish winning their battles all over the pitch. Our keeper was only tested twice, and both times, he made excellent saves. I’m super proud of them all
U13s:
lost 5-3 to Borehamwood Crusaders in the Spring Cup. We played a team in the league above but still very disappointed because we gave some very poor goals away. Shouldn’t be losing to that team. Anyway, it’s happened, we learn and move on 👍🏻
U14s:
lost 2.0 in the most unluckiest way possible.
We dominated the game in both halves, held possession throughout, opposition basically parked the bus, some how stuck 3 men where ever the ball went, opposition had 2 shots on target which a bobbly pitch allowed the ball to pop over our gk who dived low and would have saved it on a flatter surface, We had our chances. Lost 2.0 in a shield game to a team that beat us before as had no gk and today they got very lucky with the first goal and second with a counter after an amazing effort from Julian. We will play them again in the second leg.
U16 Whites:
lost 1 nil to Hinton Heroes. A very underpar performance from the team today. H
U16s Reds
lost 5-0 to Whetstone in the cup. Due to being let down by players, injuries and exams led to only 11 players turning up to game with no keeper. Boys worked hard keeping it tight at 1-0 to half time. Some of the 11 players were playing with injuries, worked hard but could not stop the opposing team as fatigue set in.
U18s Reds:
won with a deserved 4-1 win against a physical Edmonton ranger team. Dominated the game but didn’t really get going till we switched to a 3 5-2 which then allowed us to open up the Edmonton defence and create several scoring opportunities.
