Under 9s: The Under 9s had a challenging match against Belsize Park on a difficult pitch. Under 11s: Our U11s are steadily improving, although there’s room for understanding their positions and roles on the pitch. With continuous effort and learning, they are on the right track to becoming a more cohesive team. Under 12s: The U12s secured an impressive 5-1 victory against Go Stars. After a challenging first half with physical opposition, they matched their opponents’ physicality in the second half, resulting in a comfortable win. Their adaptability and determination were evident. Under 13’s: The U13s faced a tough 7-1 loss, particularly struggling in the first half. However, they showed remarkable resilience in the second half, taking control of the game. This experience will serve as a valuable lesson, and the team is determined to keep learning and improving. Under 16s Red: Although the U16s Red faced an 8-1 loss to Northwood, they showed improvement compared to the previous week. U10s: Displayed great progress with a thrilling game. Compared to the previous weekend, they showed significant improvement, playing a strong and competitive game. Their performance leaves us optimistic for their upcoming matches. U11s: Faced a challenging test, and although the result didn’t go in their favour, they continue to exhibit remarkable resilience and determination. Each match provides valuable learning experiences for this talented group, and we have no doubt they will bounce back stronger. U12s: Ended their match with a 1-1 draw, demonstrating their strength on the pitch. While they could have converted more chances, they were clearly the dominant side. With continued hard work and focus, they’re poised for success in future games. U14 Reds: Showcased an exciting game, even though they experienced their first loss in over 20 games. The opposition put in a strong first-half performance, deserving their lead. However, the boys displayed determination and resilience, learning valuable lessons from this match. Despite challenging weather conditions and refereeing decisions, they kept their heads high, with Alex providing a crucial assist and Adam netting an impressive goal. U16 Reds: Despite a challenging loss, the U16 Reds started the game positively with some promising opportunities. New Salamis Season under Way – Youth Match Round up 1

New Salamis Football Club had a fantastic weekend of football action across all age groups, showcasing their passion and determination on the field. Under 9’s: The Under 9’s kicked off the season with a bang, securing an exhilarating win after being promoted ! These young talents displayed their love for the game and had us all on the edge of our seats with their performance. Under 10’s: Despite a challenging game , the Under 10’s are keeping their heads high. It’s the beginning of the season, and this squad is ready to learn, grow, and bounce back stronger in the next match. Under 11’s: The U11’s faced a tough test, but they remain undeterred. Every challenge is an opportunity for growth, and we have full confidence in their ability to come back even stronger. U12s: The U12s were on fire against Omonia. Their performance was so outstanding that they could have easily doubled their score. U13’s: Despite a 4-0 loss, our U13’s displayed remarkable effort and teamwork, especially given that it was their first game together. Holding the score to 1-0 at halftime demonstrates their potential for the future, and we’re incredibly proud of their performance. Under 14 Reds: What a thrilling start to the season for our Under 14 Reds! They dominated their match against Hinton and Finchley, securing a commanding 6-0 victory. Mo’s hat trick, along with goals from Heritier, Zakaria, and Georgio, earned them a well-deserved three points. U14 Whites: A fantastic start to the season for our U14 Whites! They earned a thrilling 7-3 win against Whetstone Panthers. Despite a slow start, the boys soon took control of the game, with Captain Julian Kalemi delivering a stunning hat-trick. Hussein Aldreby and Erald Lasku added to the excitement, and the team displayed excellent skills and teamwork, with notable contributions from Huseyin-Emre Denizer, Adam Choudhury, and new signing Theo Constant. Great Sunday for New Salamis Youth FC U13 White, who had a fantastic Tournament at Aloysius – AFC summer tournament. Played against some great teams like Pro FA – Salamis won 2.0, we played Limitless FA in the semi finals in an evenly matched game which, we won on pens which saw us into the Final Vs ‘Alexandra Park Youth A team’ who had won all their group games and had 1 draw earlier with New Salamis however second time round in the final we conceding 2 goals being the only 2 in the entire tournament. Well done boys, we are super proud of you. New Salamis Youth FC u13 White won their league undefeated and now finalist. Honestly couldn’t be more proud of these boys. New Salamis Youth FC Round Up – North London is RED & WHITE – CHAMPIONS!!

New Salamis Youth U13 White, finished the season at HMH and literally smoked the season with a whopping 18 games win, 2 draws, Zero L’s finishing the season UNDEFEATED What a season for the U13s who have just show what hard work can achieve under the guidance of Coaches Kay and Muzzy – Top goal scorers No1 and 4, and hope our No1 striker can pick up the golden boot as well. Our gk Hermann Steiner has the most clean sheets in the season. 20 games – conceded 8 goals only 🤩 U13s Reds ended their season strongly with a comfortable 2-0 win. A good performance, playing some lovely football at times and should have been rewarded with more goals. Goals in each half from Georgio and Heritier gave us the 3 points.

New Salamis Youth FC Round up 30/05/2023 & 03/05/2023

As we near the end of the season one team in particular is heading for the title New salamis whites u13s U13s whites vs U13s Reds – Double Header – 2-0 & 1-0 A great atmosphere all round from parents to coaches and players, both teams played a very respectful aggressive competitive double game, end to end battles whilst the coaches also had a lovely coffee on the side lines, it was like a mini salamis u13 tournament where it was a proud event.Well done to both teams, parents and coaches. U13s Reds vs AFC Southgate 2-1 Our boys put in a fantastic performance this evening against AFC Southgate and ran away 2-1 winners. Salamina went 1-0 down, conceding a good goal but never dropped their heads. The second half saw them equalise through Heritier, using his fine pace to break through and smashed a half volley into the top corner. The boys were not finished ! Georgio went on one of his amazing runs, beat two, three players, but was brought down for a penalty. Roman stepped up and smashed his penalty beautifully in the side of the net to give the reds the 3 points. Every player played fantastically well tonight. U18s whites vs Hampstead 4-1 A 4-1 win for the U18 White Salamis, with the best goal being awarded to Ronnie for his wonder strike outside the box truly something to behold😱. White Salamis started off very slowly and could not even manage the simplest of passes in the first half, however in the second half the midfield battled more tenaciously which gave us more control of the game and more opportunities going forward.
